running update

Ok, I ran 3 miles yesterday. It was the first time I’ve ran more than 2 miles in almost 2 years. I’m in bad shape. It took all I had just to finish without walking.

So, right now, my 3 mile time is right at 27 minutes. Not so great. I have 9 minutes to shave off my time. It’s crazy how quickly my endurance has faded. I’m not discouraged though, this is only week one of my training. It’ll take a lot of work, but I’m confident that I can get to the 18 minute mark.
